A new Christmas film starring Lance Henriksen (Santa), Natasha Henstridge (Jenna), Natalie Shinnick (Ella), and Leonardo Cecchi (Mike).
Ella, a rebellious elf, sets out to modernize the Christmas factory against Santa's will. Mike, Santa's number one employee, will have to decide which side to take - his sisters or Santas. Ella will have to weigh the costs of modernization vs tradition. The animated characters of Arctic Friends teach Ella and Mike about values and lead the story in an unexpected direction.
The shooting of the film Vote for Santa has begun in Rome. It’s an international project produced by Santo Versace and Gianluca Curti with production company Minerva Pictures and in partnership with Iervolino Entertainment. It continues the adventures of previous Christmas films from the director, Francesco Cinquemani, that also mixed live-action and animation.
This feature film is a return to that cult film genre, popular in the 90s, created by the blending of the animated world with that of human beings (as seen in Who Framed Roger Rabbit?). It is projected to be released Christmas 2023 on Apple TV and Amazon Prime.
